Where are you based?

We are located at 5 Williams Road, Tokomaru, Horowhenua, New Zealand.

Do you grow your own chillies?

Yes we grow all our own chillies plus the main fruit, vegetables, herbs etc we use in our products. We also make cider vinegar from our own apples to use in the sauces.

How long have you been making chilli sauce?

I made the first batch of chilli sauce in the late 1990’s. Steve always used to use Kaitaia Fire but when they ran out for a couple of months he said I should make some. It grew from there.

Which is your favourite?

It depends on the meal and what mood we are in. Some flavours just work better together and sometimes we want more of the chilli burn than other times. We do use all the products we make - If we don’t like the flavour I don’t make them. We have discussed that I would probably continue making all the products just for us when we finally stop making sauces etc commercially.

Which is your hottest sauce?

Dragon’s Pain, Liquid Fire Sauce is our hottest sauce with Dark Magic Sauce coming in a close
